First let us discuss about the benefits of Kaphala bhathi Pranayam:

Most of the people do it again and again in order to experience the relaxing benefits of this pranayam throughout the day. Yes, it keeps you calm and excited through out the day. ( People get addicted to Kaphala bhathi Pranayam after doing it for few days ) As this directly acts on Pituitary gland and brain , one stays happy throughout the day.

Hence, most of them do the Kaphal bhathi only to experience mental calmness with unlimited energy levels throughout the day ( TRULY, IT WORKS AS A TRANQUILIZER BUT A NATURAL ONE WITH NO SIDE EFFECTS).

Kaphala bhathi helps in weight loss, especially it works on the abdominal area and keeps your belly in the right size. One can observe in the below pic how it helps in reducing belly:

HIn this type of Pranayam, one automatically let's the belly go in and out and probably this is best stomach exercise you have ever seen.

KAs the stomache undergoes lot of positive vibrations, the entire digestive system gets stimulated along with Liver and keeps these organs healthy.

Kaphala bhathi clears the respiratory passages, minimizing the risks of infections and allergies in the respiratory system. It strengthens the lungs and heart muscles.

This type of breathing technique is probably the only exercise for diaphragm and improves more circulation to it. Thus, avoids risk of developing hernias.

ce kaphalbhati helps to improve blood circulation to the lower half of the body, The technique also helps increase the lung capacity making more oxygen available to the body. As more oxygen flows into the body, it becomes more efficient.

  1. Pranayama is the fourth limb or step of ashtanga yoga, as set out by Patanjali in the Yoga sutra. It is made up of two words prana means breath or bio energy in the body and yama means control hence pranayama is the control of breath or bio (pranic) energy. It is done by regulating the breathing and holding the breath in between for certain periods of time to calm the mind and relax the body to experience higher states of consciousness. The practice is an integral part of both hatha yoga and ashtanga vinayasa yoga in the execution of asanas. Patanjali in yoga sutras mentioned pranayama as means of attaining higher states of awareness, holding of breath is an important practice of reaching Samadhi.
